Traffic Directional Stakes

Links Directional 2

The Links Department staff use short white and green stakes on the golf course to help with traffic control. These stakes are there to direct all traffic away from certain areas throughout the golf course at all times of the year. Traffic is described as golfers, carts of any kind and utility vehicles. The reasons for keeping traffic away from areas can include: wet soil conditions, reduce wear spots, seeded or new sod sites, and even very dry conditions.

Please help improve the turf conditions for all by going around the traffic control stakes and remember to keep all pull carts 30 feet from greens and avoid pulling carts between the green and bunkers.

Thank you,

Links Department
