The two new greens on the practice site were built to USGA specs and established with aeration cores from the greens on the golf course which will maintain the consistency of the putting surfaces. The greens are establishing very well to date. The surrounding turf areas were seeded except for the perimeters around the green and bunker complexes which were sodded. These areas are again doing very well and are beginning to establish good root structure and foliage density. The bunkers are complete except for the addition of more sand.
The next additions will be a foundation and secure building for services and storage. A power cable will be installed from the turf maintenance building to the site of the new building for electrical services. The new Short Game Practice Facility is still on schedule for opening in the spring of 2016.
