The past few days have seen some very high winds leave a lot of debris across the entire golf course. Although our staff can do very little as far as clean up during these extremely windy days, the next days and weeks will be spent blowing, raking and picking up the debris left behind.
We are also installing three cups on each green and will start using these pin placements on a daily basis. The two mains reasons for this is to move the wear and tear on the greens surface as needed and allows us to move the pin position when we are unable to cut fresh holes.
We will also be combining the blue and white tee markers to reduce the wear and tear on tees throughout the winter months. The red and green markers will stay intact and will be moved as needed for daily play.
Also a reminder that the Links Staff will be placing the artificial mats on the par 3 holes and the short par 4 holes to save the tees from damage that cannot recover until spring. Please use these mats when in play to help reduce winter tee damage.
