I hope everyone had a great holiday season and the New Year brings good health and improved golf for all.
The snow cleared off the golf course on December 29th and we are back to a more traditional cool and wet west coast weather pattern. The Links staff are moving forward with irrigation shut off valve replacement and will continue until we pressurize the system in mid-February. At this time of year all of the accessories on the golf course are brought in to the maintenance shop to be refurbished and refinished for use in the upcoming year.
Some administrative items I am addressing at this time include submitting our irrigation water management plan as required by the city of Vancouver and submitting our annual summary of pesticide use to the Ministry of Environment.
It’s nice to see the sun and blue skies today. The range, course and all 18 greens are open!
